Elvis’s first single, the classic hit ‘Heartbreak Hotel’, set him up for an outstanding 20-year music and acting career. Until his untimely death, Elvis released over 100 singles and with sales topping over 1 billion worldwide he became one of the best-selling artists of all time. ‘The King’ has had a major and ongoing influence on the Rock n Roll style of music and during his career received many awards, including the Lifetime Music Achievement Award and recognition into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. Sadly Elvis’s last tour was in 1977 but today his classic music still lives on.
